Enigin - USA Strives For Global Warming Solution With Energy Saving Initiatives

US Environmental Protection Agency Administrator, Lisa Jackson, claims that the US is committed to combating climate change by finding a global solution to the threat of climate change: "We have reached the first point in history where the impact of everyday human activities are affecting the health of our entire planet," she said, at the UN climate conference in Copenhagen held this month.

The certitude that the Obama Administration is taking this threat seriously is also shared by US Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton, who thinks that "It is time to launch a broad operational accord on climate change that will set us on a new course."

Mrs. Clinton claimed that President Obama's government has already acted upon environmental issues more than ever before in the history of the USA, to promote clean energy and address climate change.

She further pointed out that these efforts have to be shared by all countries in the world in order to produce positive outcomes on the environment, and encouragement for worldwide involvement has been given by the US under the Obama administration: "All major economies, developed and developing, need to take robust and transparent action to reduce their carbon emissions. ...The actions required of the developed and major developing countries will not be identical, but we must all do our part. ... The fact is that nearly all of the growth in emissions in the next 20 years will come from the developing world."

The initiatives taken by the US to tackle climate change have been derived from the belief that energy efficiency has a major role to play in saving the environment, by reducing harmful emissions as well as maintenance costs for businesses, which produce a third of the world's emissions.

Companies such as Enigin PLC are continuously solicited by businesses in the US and across the globe for the implementation of energy saving systems, aiming to reduce emissions, improve green credentials and save significant amounts of money on energy bills.

Enigin give business owners the opportunity to switch to the latest technology in energy efficiency by installing energy saving products for their basic daily needs - lighting, air conditioning, refrigeration and motors. Enigin are recognised as specialists in the field of energy efficiency and deliver top quality products coupled with impeccable customer service.

An example of an initiative taken by the United States is the Renewables and Efficiency Deployment Initiative, or Climate REDI.

Through Climate REDI, the US and other major economies will help provide developing countries with easier access to clean and renewable energy technology, financing, and improved information sharing.

The plan requires a 350 million dollar investment, which member countries have committed to participate in, while the USA will provide an input of at least 85 million dollars.

Part of this financial investment will be put towards the implementation of energy efficient technology and solutions, such as the ones Enigin offer.

Hilary Clinton commented "Our world is on an unsustainable path that threatens not only our environment, but our economies and our security, It is time to launch a broad operational accord on climate change that will set us on a new course."
